Ready For Christmas
Today I'm using another one of my favorite stamp sets from Mama Elephant 2017 October release. I wanted to create soft colors with these stamps. I picked winter ink from Mama Elephant and wild rose ink from Lawn Fawn to stamp stripes on the front panels. For inner panel, I used Copic markers to color the images and applied very light shades of distress ink to the background. In the end, I put very generous amount of Stampendous shaved ice as shaker element inside the window.

Holiday Card With Color Pencil
I've been wanting to try color pencil for a long time and I finally did it. The skill is different from water color or Copic coloring and need lots of patience. I defintely need some more practices. But it was really fun. After finishing coloring, I used white gel pen to add fur texture on the hat and applied white ink + snow stencil to the background. Hopefully it's not looking too boring.

Whale Birthday Card
This card was inspired by MFT sketch challenge. For the background, I hand drew the waves with glue pen and heat embossed them white. Then I used ink smooshing technique to apply various blue disktress ink colors. For the whale, I colored it with distress markers on a separate piece of watercolor paper and fussy cut it out. For finishing details, I covered the entire wave area with iridescent sequin. Unfortunately it didn't show well on the picture.

Yeti New Year
Another card with this cute yeti from Mama Elephant!
Lots of heat embossing in this card and very little Copic coloring. Overall a very easy card to make, although I did spend quite a bit of time experimenting a new color combination for Xmas night sky. Out of all the ones that I have explored, I liked this color combination the most. It doesn't look like a night sky as I wanted in the first place, but I still love it. In this combination, I applied 5 distress ink colors: chipped sapphire, seedless preserve, anitique linen, shabby shutters, peeled paint.

Yeti For Christmas
I've never made a Xmas card in Sept/Oct. Only because I saw this super cute yeti from Mama Elephant and ordered on the day they were released!
I colored everything with Copic markers. For the mountains on the back, I ink blended with distress ink ice spruce. For the mountains in the front, I ink blend with distress ink mermaid lagoon first then ice spruce to make it less bright. For both mountains, I splattered some water, dabbed them off with paper towel, then again splattered some white acrylic paint. I usually only do either water or paint. The effect of combining two really amazed me. For caps and hills, I also lightly applied distress ink ice spruce to add some shades.
