Pirate and Treasure

This is my second entry to MFT super star card contest.

The card itself was very simple, but to decide what color theme, I pondered for a long time. In one idea, I wanted to use blue for ocean. In another idea, I wanted to use brown for treasure map. I couldn't decide which colors so I tried out both of them just to see which one looks better. But it turned out even after finishing both of them, I still couldn't decide which one looked better! I then seek advice from my husbands and sons - 3 people, and guess what? It was a tie (one vote for each and the third one couldn't decide)!

So I decided to post both of them. Please leave a comment and let me know which one you think is better.

I'm submitting this card to the following challenges.

Supplies used in this card:
  • MFT Party like a pirate stamp set (MFT)
  • MFT soak up the fun stamp set (MFT)

  1. They are both so adorable, Katrina!! I'm not sure which I like better. They are both the perfect colour for the sentiments. Love the watercolour wash on just the edges of the cards. Thanks for sharing both cards with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

  6. I love both your cards, Katrina. I guess if you gave the 1st to a girl and the 2nd to a boy that is the only way I could choose. Love your watercolour wash backgrounds and so pleased you joined our CAS Watercolour challenge with both your cards. Hugs...
