Love Is In The Air

I'm playing along with Simon Says Stamp Challenge this weekend and made a wedding/anniversay theme card. I started out by stamping the heart constellation using black ink. Then I started ink blending from center of heart towards outside. I used distress ink squeenze lemonade, spiced marmalade, fired brick and seedless preserve. To finish off I splattered some big water dropplets to break up the blended colors.

I'm submitting this card to the following challenges.

Supplies used in this card:
  • Lawn Fawn upon a star stamp set (LF)
  • Waffle Flower Popping In stamp set (WF)

  1. Super cute card! I love the colors you used for your sky!
I'd love for you to link this up to Cropstop where it's always "Anything Goes" as long as you use a product or two from one of the companies they carry in the store. (You did!)

  2. What a sweet card, love the cute furry couple gazing at the stars. Thank you so much for joining us at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge. Hugs, Sandra

  3. This is beautiful. What an interesting choice of distress inks. I've never seen that combo before, but I love it!! Thanks for joining us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge.

  4. Such a nice idea to use these colours as a background. Never thought of it, but it looks great.

  5. Katrina, thank you so much for visiting my blog for the Pinkfresh release, and for your super sweet comment! :) This sweet card is just beautiful! I adore your ink blending and the adorable scene you've created!
